The first large scale Tekken 7 tournament in the Philippines is finally confirmed. One of our fellow players confirmed that Timezone Philippines has set up announcement flyers on their stores for their official Tekken 7 tournament.

As was shown in the leaked image for the event, this tournament will be a 3-on-3 team tournament. Timezone stores will be holding an elimination stage on Feb. 20 or 21. Each store can have a maximum of 20 participating teams and the winners (no details as to how many) will compete in the Grand Finals on March 5.

Both the store elimination and grand final tournaments will be in a single-elimination format until after the second round where only five teams will remain. From the five teams remaining, the top three based on their win-loss record will be chosen to play in a round robin to determine their placings.

Registration starts on Feb. 9 at any of the participating Timezone stores and will cost P250 per team. Players of age 13 and above may join the tournament.
