Tekken Mobile Game “Tekken Card Tournament” to Close This April
The Tekken official twitter account has announced that after four years of action among 20 million players from all over the world, the mobile game “Tekken Card Tournament” will be closing this April.
Tekken Card Tournament is a trading card mobile game that was released early in 2013. The game initially featured the following characters from the original series: Ling Xiaoyu, Paul Phoenix, Yoshimitsu, Marshall Law, Kazuya Mishima, Nina Williams, Panda, Emilie De Rochefort, Heihachi Mishima. Later on in the game’s run, a few more characters were added into the game namely: Jin Kazama, Asuka Kazama, and Hwoarang. The game lets players battle with up to five cards in play with different properties depending on the character used. For every attack made by each player, character models from Tekken 6 fought in the background of the game.
Support will soon be discontinued (in app purchases on the store such as gold, credits & coin doublers will be stopped on February 3rd), and the game will end on the 4th of April, 2017. Tekken thanks the many players and fans who have enjoyed the game for years.
