It was a rough tournament for PBE|Doujin, but he managed to fight his best despite the cold of China. Though he fell short of the championship, his performance that landed him in second place is no less than impressive.

Andreij “PBE|Doujin” Albar was sent early to the losers bracket in Top 8 when he fell against the TEKKEN World Tour champion ROX|Qudans. From there he fought past Australia’s Deeon Grey, China’s Shadow|晓花, to finally get a rematch against the current world champion. In spectacular fashion, PBE|Doujin on his Kazumi managed to outplay ROX|Qudans’ signature Devil Jin, eliminating the champion and moving on. He also eliminated China’s 林南 in the losers finals, and faced against Noroma in the tournament Grand Finals.

PBE|Doujin took the first match against Noroma’s interesting Dragunov pick, which forced Noroma to switch to his main character Jack-7. This switch balanced the scales, slightly in Noroma’s favor which showed with how he scored three straight wins afterwards for the championship. Each match was close, going all the way to the grand finals, but Noroma pulled clutch decisions to end each match in his favor.

The rest of the results are as follows:

Champion: Noroma
2nd place: PBE|Doujin
3rd place: 林南
4th place: ROX|Qudans
5th place: 小霸王, Shadow|晓花
7th place: 秀人, Dee-on

Congratulations to Noroma’s championship, and of course congratulations to PBE|Doujin’s second place finish. This is but a mere preview of what the Philippines will be bringing next year so watch out world!
