In three different TEKKEN World Tour tournaments, the championship has eluded Echo Fox’s JDCR. He placed second in Final Round, fourth in Norcal Regionals, and third in Beast Arena Hong Kong. Finally, JDCR has reached the top once more in home soil at Korea Masters.

For two days, over two hundred players battled in Korea to earn their share of TWT points. Aside from the hundreds of Korean players, there are those from other countries who attended the tournament as well including:

North America – UYU|P.Ling, PG|Speedkicks, WayGamble
France – Millenium|GEN1US
Japan – Yamasa|Nobi, Yamasa|Take, Yamasa|Yuu, COOASGAMES|Noroma, Walker|Furumizu, CAG RB|Tanukana
Philippines – PBE|Doujin, PBE|AK, Coffee Prinz, Mawts, Not Cool Bro

In the midst of all the powerhouse players however, JDCR fought his way straight to the top. In his pools, he defeated Furumizu and veteran local players Sunchip who made his own appearance for the first time in a while. When he reached top 16, he continued his run plowing through new tournament favorite Rangchu who impressed the world with his Panda, tournament runner up Kkokkoma, and most importantly Noroma who defeated him in last year’s Korea Masters.

After that, JDCR once again met Kkokkoma who fought his way through Japan’s Take, another new tournament favorite Breadman, and Noroma, to get a rematch in the Grand Finals. While Kkokkoma’s efforts were more than praise-worthy, JDCR denied Kkokkoma the bracket reset and claimed his first TWT championship with a 3-2 victory.

The rest of the results are as follows:
